Parents:
As we transition our way back to face-to-face instruction we would like to stress the importance of remaining vigilant in your COVID 19 reporting. Please be mindful of our teachers, staff, and students and report any exposures or positive tests within your household to the Central Cambria Nurse, Principal, or your child’s teacher immediately. If someone in the household is being tested for Covid and awaiting results, please keep your child home until results are known. We are doing our best here at Central Cambria by adhering to the guidelines set forth by the CDC and Department of Health so that we can have our students attend in person and we need your help in order to keep our students in school. Please continue to monitor your child before they come to school each day for any signs or symptoms of Covid and have them attend school virtually if they are not feeling well.
As of now, we anticipate a return to the Hybrid model for grades 6-12, beginning January 4th. The Hybrid Model will be the same model that was used earlier this school year. Click "Read Full Story" to view the schedule. While the Hybrid Schedule extends for the months of January, February, and March, there is a possibility that all secondary students return to school 5 days per week in the near future, pending board approval.
Please review the update regarding the change to a hybrid instructional plan necessitated by PDE / DOH guidance based on Cambria County being in the "Moderate Risk" classification. Please note that the first student day has been delayed from 8/31 to 9/08.
The Central Cambria School District Phased Re-Opening Health and Safety Plan has been approved by the CCSD Board of Directors on July 13, 2020.
Anyone needing to register a student for the 2021-22 school year at Central Cambria School District can do so by completing the online New Student Online Enrollment (NSOE) Form.
